Default Dyno Numbers for Powerdyne

Made the first pass at the dyno today, and I was pertty happy with the results. The car is a 2002 Firehawk with 36lb injectors, Walbro 340m, and a 6lb powerdyne kit that I bought used. It is running through a completely stock Firehawk exhaust. There is no tuning other than lowering the timing down to 16 degrees for everything over 2400 rpm and .8 g/cyl with LS1-Edit (thanks to Blackbird for the tip). It saw 7 lbs of boost at 6000 rpm.

The car was so rich that the wideband dropped below ten, then shut off in the middle of the run (nearly giving me a heart attack in the process as it defaulted to 17.5!). So now I have got to lean it out a bit and get it back somewhere close to stoich. So time to hit the PE tables - any suggestions on how much to subtract?

Any input or comments would be appreciated.

For the die-hards - ATAP Logs- Graph is of the third run.

way to go.

nice numbers even though it was so rich.

as long as your ltrims are going to zero at wot you can just start pulling fuel where needed. I would go with 5% increments. Pull some fuel, do a run, pull or add based on the a/f and repeat. shoot for 11.9:1

probably have about an hours work on a dyno and you will be seeing a bit over 400.

happy to see it's coming together so nicely so quickly.

You should go way past 400RWHP with a safe AF of 12:1 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Get tuning that sucker, that is the richest dyno graph I have ever seen hehehe <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
