Custom build turbo kit
My question is : How hard is turbo kit to build?
I mean if i have a kit around i can easiliy 'copy' the whole kit and buy the other parts whic i cant build susch as 'ECM program,injectors,turbo/turbos etc...)
But no one haves a turbo kit over here (Except for a one TT Lingenfelter C5)or a car.So i dont want to mess up with the manifold designs and other thinks. As i said : i can easily let my friends build the manifolds from SStell or other materials, intercoolers and silicon piping is no problem same thinks goes for the exhaust and other thinks. The whole system (Except for the 'other'parts)costs me near nothing.I mean manifolds,piping,installation,intercooler/s, and other little thinks. But how do i copy a kit? i dont want to discover %100 of it at least i need good pictures very detailed ones. And i want to ask a question about scavange pump or whatever the name of it.What is this for?(To lube the turbo?)is this include the single turbo kits? do i need it?A cold and long winter is at the door and i have time to play my toy on the lift for a month or 2.So give me some ideas
What power level are you shooting for?
The stainless you should look in the 304-321 range. keep the turbos as high as possible for good oil drain back.
Turbos are very simple things when you look at them just takes time and some cash to get it all together.
Run down of needed parts...
Turbos, wastegates, intercooler, plumbing, possibly a blow off valve.
I bought a huge shipment of stainless for my project so I could get it cheaper but I am also planning on making a few kits for fun.
