Re: T/A totaled The car was delivered yesterday. It is indeed totaled but the drivers compartment held up well.
I'll take some pictures later if I feel up to it. Thanks again for the kind words.I feel lucky to be here. Our cars are safer than I imagined.
Please wear your seat belts...i know I'm preaching but that kept me from being thrown. I am leary of removing the impact bars in the doors for weight removal...the act as sort of a SFC for the drivers compartment.
You guys keep raising hell and click off some good ETs for the FI crowd....I'll be back.....and remember..it IS just a car.

Re: T/A totaled Sorry to hear that. I had about the same thing 2 years ago lady pulled out into trafic and hit 3 cars. If you know who hit you sue for the price of car OH I mean damage. I sued and got allot, and it took a little less then a year. Yeah I had to pay about 20k in hospital and car. Good luck I been there.
Re: T/A totaled I talked to Jerry yesterday and he sounds like he's still hurting preety bad. He says its mostly from his back. The adjuster came and looked at his car and its totlated ofcoarse. I think hes going to buy it back.
On the accident, some one hit the rear of the car and spun him into a wall on the interstate. I think he said he went into the other lane and traffic had to swerve to miss him.
The guy who hit him took off and they havent found him yet. There are a few more witnesses they need to talk to, so hopefully they find this guy. Hopefully the police get in gear and find him.
Well we will keep you in our prayers Jerry that everything comes out on top.

I hope you get better soon, I still have back probs from that wreck almost 3 years ago. Re: T/A totaled Thanks Smokinhawk...you pretty much nailed it. I'll be talking to insurance again Monday. No roll cage...it wouldnt have mattered as the drivers compartment was fine. it was the 60mph head on into the wall that hurt. I am still hurting pretty good right now. Trying to lay off the meds so I can see where my body is really at.

That has to be totally horrible to not only wreck your pride and joy but also to be injured. I hope this never happens to you again and I hope It doesnt happen to anybody on this board.
