Default How to tell which pulley I have?

ATI Folk.
I couldn't resist the urge to see what she does today and went WOT and the boost gauge hit 6psi.
I specified to the company I bought it from that I wanted the 7psi pulley and a 9psi pulley also. I got just one pulley.
4.10 pulley= ?
3.4 pulley= ?
3.2 pulley= 9-12psi?
I compared it to my old powerdyne 6psi pulley which measures in at 3.12in and the D1's a little bigger than that not by much tho.

I prolly don't have the belt tight enough, was kinda scared on how tight I should go on the tensioner.
I saw Black LS1 TA's picture of his headunit and the two pulleys and I definately don't have the big pulley, by the looks of it I have the small one that he has, the 3.2.
I hope its the 9psi pulley because Ed W. set my program for this level of boost.

How tight should this belt be? How much deflection are you guys set up at? This will help me gauge where the belt should be.

Can I dyno before the 500 mi break in time or not recommended. I need to see my power increase.
Any help or advice is appreciated.
J

Look on the back side of the pulley. The diameter should be stamped in the middle of the face pocket.

or you could just get your micrometer or your calipers or if you dont have any of that just use a tape measure. The diameter that your checking for is the top of the ribs.

CamarogodZ28,
I will check that.
Do you still have the steel idlers? I can send you a money order monday if you do.
Sorry for not getting back to you on that, I have been busy and a little over budget with getting the car back on the road.

Cool,
I'll be looking for the email. I definately don't want anymore hassles with this kit, your steel idler will help insure that.
Thanks,
