Default Vortech LS1 Head Units Failing

Did Vortech discontinue the 'high boost' LS1 kit? I heard that they have had so many V9-G trim head units fail that they were no longer going to sell the 9psi kit.

How many out there have had a head unit fail on their LS1?

As a side note, is the 't-trim' LS1 kit ready yet, and what are the details on that?

tia,

We had a 9psi H\O unit fail within 1 week, and it was only making 5.5 psi on a heads\cam car.It was so bad,had pieces of the impeller in the intercooler-thank god for that

So far the new unit is doing ok...

One failed on the dyno after just being installed! I'm glad we decided to stay n/a

I don't like the G-Trim much, but the S-Trim should be more stout.

vortech stopped selling the V9 SQ for the LS1 for sure some time ago and only sell the g-trim for our cars now. I saw one of the sq trims put out 9lbs on a heads/cam car and blow up the second run on the dyno

Not sure about the V9-SQ either.
The V2-SQ seems to be doing well for the C5. Not sure why the F-Body can't fit one. Normally you have more room than us.
