Got the money, but needs some advice Looking to buy an ATI D-1SC. I would like some input on how difficult it may be to install it myself or if I should shell out the bucks to have some one do it for me. Also if I should consider the Vortec with the power cooler. I have heard horror stories with vortec. If anyone could give some input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Got the money, but needs some advice I dont know about the Vortec and the tuner Ati kits .I have a Ati 7 psi kit.All i can say is : If you are a average mechanic or a very good handy man with avarage tools and a help of a friend its not that hard but its not a piece of a cake either 
I do it myself its a little harder than i expect.Just take your time and double check everythink.( i finished my installation on the 3 rd day i am not a pro <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> )

If anyone could give me any input on wether ATI is a better product then vortec, or vice versa it would be apreciated.

First thing I would do it Paypal ME all of it. Only thing I can say is BOOST RULES!!
you will have ton's of fun with your car
Install is not that bad, as long as you can turn a wrench and understand car a little bit, you can do it. It is better if you have a couple buds with you too. That way you can <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> when you are done with a nights work.
