Default Newbie with Boost looking for info

OK, right now everything is in my sig. I would like info on the amount of boost safe for stock internal, 92 octane, street & strip car. I do plan on building engine to meet all critical requirements if I do go FI, and prefer the turbo route. For now, I wouldn't mind adding FI and then later building and increasing boost levels to correspond. Who makes a reliable, and efficient turbo / TT kit for LS1 F-bodies? What else will I need to begin: Fuel pump, LS1 edit, ....? And what about building a booster engine: forged internals, billet crank, heads that flow, ls6 intake, cam (? grinds), valvetrain, ignition?, rearend upgrade 12bolt/9", what else??? TIA.

Charlie.

I think you might have to lower the compression first to beable to run on 92. Incon siad I had to run on 94 min for only 4.5 psi. Although Im running 7+ on 94 right now. Im sure one of the guys will chime in here soon.

http://www.ls1motorsports.com/Single_Turbo.htm

they have everything you need included in their kit for a stock ls1 including fuel system/tuning

you will likely need a rear and trans/clutch work just to sustain the torque made on a stock motor.

your ignition and crank can stay stock, all else would be good to upgrade, looking to build the engine yourself or no?
