Power output of a 427 TT

Power output of a 427 TT Hi, this is my question.
I know this person who used to have an early 90's 454 SS Chevy truck. This person ordered an L-88 427 engine to be built by a shop here in Cali, but wasn't able to tell me who it was. He put around $30k just into the engine. I know it had twin turbos and he claims those turbos were running 10 psi each. The engine also had a nitrous oxide system. This was about all the info I could get from him, as well as the pics at the end of this post.
He claims it outputs 1200 FWHP and 1600 on juice. I would like to know how true these claims are, I know its not something you can tell just from the information here, but I would like to know if its at least close.

Re: Power output of a 427 TT 427 makes no sense to me .Maybe he only used the block of a real L88 427 BB...other than block and the crankshaft everythink is nearly useless for TT engine. 2x10 psi = 10 psi @ the intake
1000+ Hp is not very easy even with BB Chevy with TT s 1600 is way to much....but you said he spend 30$ on that engine..maybe if he knows the right guys maybe...but its not a easy job even with a BB and 30$

Re: Power output of a 427 TT Souds a little far out but could be. My 383 with D1-SC supercarger and 2stage fogger dynoed 974hp with out the big shot Nos but that setup way way more than $30K. He is probly saying that because if he didn't you would wonder where the $30k for the engine whent!

I am not too sure on the specifics, but I heard a rumor that Ken Duttweiler (located in Cali) had an LSx 427 motor with a TT kit that engine dynoed 1600 hp this week or last week.
I will try and get more info.
