Technical Literature for LS1 engine ? I was wondering if there are any books, or any other sources on "how to install/swap superchargers, cam, heads, pushrods, on LS1" ??? I'm kinnda new at this stuff, and I think I need some theoretical info, along with "step-by-step" procedure on how to work on an LS1 engine....
Do you guys know any sources available ?

BTW...I found out that there is a new book coming out in April 2003...."Chevy LS1 performance" You can pre-order it now for $12 + s&h = ~$20

Re: Technical Literature for LS1 engine ? The LS1/LS6 engine series is rather new, and to the best of my knowledge there is not really any literature on high performance modification of them.
However, I read in the lounge that someone just got published a book on this very subject. It's not going to be available till some time in the first quarter of next year. Until then, I suggest you read sites like jmX's www.LS1howto.com and wwww.installuniversity.com .
Both are EXECELENT sites about installs and mods for LS1/LS6 cars. I'm sure there are more out there, but those are the two I know off the top of my head.
