upgraded radiator
My Camaro haves a problem (nearly cured)SLP Radiator(NA Cam/heads/Spray),Doug Rippie engine oil cooler kit,twin custom fans ,SLP fan switch(Activating both fans)Hypertech 160 F thermo and fasn wake up on 160-165 F and still have a little problem.
Ati blown C5 A4 Vette. DougRippie engine oil coole kit,Doug Rippie mosnter radiator(its almost double the size of the stock radiator! But Ati owners be carefull it takes nearly a week for me to install this radiator!I have to cut nearly all the hoses,re assambled the radiator location and modify it,psuhing the raditor forward beacuse the Ati intake pipe wont slip from the stock location! its a real headache)160F thermo custom ECM tuning,stcok single Ati fan ,(Next mod a twin fan set up)nearly perfect.....none of the above cars haves problems in the stop and go traffic in the summer time.
Note : I ve never saw a m6 car with heating problems on the top 100+ mph speeds.
Maybe its beacuse of the 97-98 blocks i am not sure but i ll do a A4 to M6 conversion asap.(we have 4 seasons and Summer is around 90-100F)
