tuning worth it on ATI p-1sc?

tuning worth it on ATI p-1sc? in the next few months, I am going to pick up an ATI p-1sc 5# HO kit. I know that reprogramming is not required, but would you recomend it? also, what would the benifit of this be -- and how much hp increase would I see, if any? lastly, what rwhp increase should I see with just that kit? thanks!

Re: tuning worth it on ATI p-1sc? I would watch it with auto-tap and watch your fuel pressure guage. If those look okay and after a good break-in time, I would get the car dynoed. To know if you need custom programing will depend on the information you get from the auto-tap readings and the dyno.look into getting it tuned. If I was you, I would get custom programing, just to be safe and get the most out of my setup.

Re: tuning worth it on ATI p-1sc? anyone know what kind of rwhp I would piuck up from that 5# kit (with just mods in sig), and how much more of a gain I could pick up with getting it custom-tuned? I will be adding headers a few months after I install the ATI kit.. should I wait until then to get it custom-tuned? thanks!
ps - I am looking to get my car into the 11's would this and headers do that with decent traction?
