trying to figure out what my 421cid ( IRS-421-LS1S ) 6.0 build(4.03x4.125) compression will be. I am wanting to put the LS1MS turbo on it and looking to get around the 600-650 rwhp mark. I am assuming that I will need to be shooting for the 8.8-9.4 to one. Thanks for any helps guys.

i think 9.0:1 is a good CR for a street/stip motor.
low enough to run some good boost but high enough to not be too laggy.

my engine is at 9.0:1

who is building the engine? what pistons are they using?

i agree on the above.

my compression is 8.75:1

good choise, i got my shortblock built by them , 644 hp and still has more. i had my comression set to 9.4:1 nut if i had to do it again , i'd go with 9:1 CR.
