Need Help installing air/fuel gauge with pigtail Hey Everyone
Well I finally got the blower for the car and I am installing the gauges. I am having trouble installing the air/fuel ratio gauge. I bought the wiring harness/pigtail so that I would not have to splice into the wires, however I do not know where to hook it up. I have a 2001 Z28 and I assume the connection is between the computer and the actual sensor. Where is the plug in location located?
Also I need help installing the fuel pressure gauge. I have all the lines run. I did a search for parts and got a list. My question...are all the parts on the list obtainable at the hardware store or pepboys? I purchased the electronic verion of the gauge.
Here is the list:
part # 916104 for the -4AN(Female) to 1/8 NPT(male) (Summit) <-thanks eboggs
Thats the fitting that works with the 90 degree fitting. The 90 degree fitting is a 1/8" pipe elbow. You will also need a tire valve core tool to take the scrader valve out of the fuel rail - any auto parts store will have them.

Re: Need Help installing air/fuel gauge with pigtail The plug for the o2 sensor is about a foot up the harness from the o2 sensor itself on the header or manifolds whichever you have. Just plug that inline and use the pigtail wire you have. The parts for adapting the AN to NPT will have to be ordered from summit or jegs unless you have a speedhop in your town that sells that sort of thing. The 1/8" elbow you can find at a hardware store but you might as well just order it with the an/npt adapted fitting. The shraeder valve removal tool can be found at most any hardware/sports store. Its the same as the valve in your tire valvestem.
