Need help w/ elect fuel pressure gauge I have an AutoMeter fuel pressure gauge that I want to install on my 5.3 Yukon. The sender is male threaded. The fuel rail on the truck is male threaded. I looked in the AutoMeter catalog, but their's no coupler. What/who/where/part# can I use to solve this? Is there another place I can plug the sender into? Please help
Re: Need help w/ elect fuel pressure gauge id just go to a hardware store and get the approprate conections. I ended up getting the expensive Earl conectors, that they recomended, but thought they were too much.
To hook it to the fuel rail, i believe you'll have to unscrew the schrader valve inside then and some locktight to the threads to your conectors.

Re: Need help w/ elect fuel pressure gauge i have never seen any -AN sizing at any hardware store, they sell flare sizing though, which is close, but the flare is at the wrong angle.. i did have one on my car that didn't leak though.
i think what you need is a -4AN female to a 1/4" NPT female coupler
-4 being the fuel rail side
I bought mine from Metco but im pretty sure you can get them from earls and NOS too.

Re: Need help w/ elect fuel pressure gauge I forget what sizes they were but look on jegs or summit they have what ya need. TO let ya know I had to really tighten mine so it wouldnt leak. So make sure after you have it on test it and after a couple days of running you check again.
