Who is using Water Injection ? I Have been doing some reserch on a water injection setup
Just wondering who has one and how they like it ?
What are some good kits out there ?
What kinds of power increase are to be had with a water Injection setup ?
I'm running a 5.3L with a pro charger making 9psi of boost I'm planning on puttin a set ported 5.7L heads on it to drop the compression a bit.Then i plan on putting a smaller pully on the truck and some sort of H2o injection.
How hard was it too tune in ?

Re: Who is using Water Injection ? I've used it and will do it again. My system was an Edelbrock Varajection unit which is simple, load sensing and adjustable inside. It was a few hundred dollars many years ago and may be out of production. There's some similar systems in Oz that look good and pretty cheap also. I squirted water into the turbo inlets when under load. I have chargecoolers also but with hindsight if I did it all again I would probably just use the water. That's only because I never hold boost for lengthy periods.
Re: Who is using Water Injection ? how much boost do you plan on running? you have an intercooler dont you? i am not sure that at 12psi with an intercooler and lower compresion that water/alkey injecton will do you alot of good.
i would buy a kit today if i could find one with a larger remote tank and 2stage or progresive control. i am going to have to cobble something together i think.
