i would not dig into the bowl to lowe your compression, it may do more harm than good flow wise.

the stock cam is actually a very good boost cam, but the cam you have listed would probably be a little better, but less streetable. imo

Using those 6.0 heads on a 346 will bring compression down to 9.7 to 1 or so. There is no reason to lower it anymore for a 7psi blower setup. Especially if you want driveability. That cam sounds like a winner for your goal.

Default H&C to complement FI, NEED HELP

Bought a set of 6.0L head gonna have it worked on to drop CR to 9.5-9.6. Currently running ATI 7lbs kit P1SC ( w/ FLP LT & high flow cat )& will continue doing same after H&C. Need advice on how to prep the head, i.e valves size, spring, retainers etc...

CAM specs. All out topend HP is less important than low-midrange power for everyday streetability. One cam that's been suggested is the LPE GT2 207/220 .573/.580 117.5CL w/ 1.7rocker. What ya'll think ?

I'm looking to replace the ATI in a year or so w/ either the magnuson or a turbo setup. so I'm looking to reuse this H&C combo.

A speed shop will be doing all the work & will have his own specs & suggestion. Don't know however if he has enough experience w/ LS1 FI.

Can't never be too prepared.

Fuel system upgrade ? 42lbs SVO injectors has been suggested, do I need a bigger capacity pump or will a boost-a-pump suffice ? This setup will hopefully yield ~560rwhp after tune.

This is primarily for street use, NO PLAN ON UPPING BOOST

Any comment will be much appreciated, THANKS !!!

I got Golden West Performance heads and cam. With their stage 2 setup my car dynoed at 531RWHP and 502RWTQ. The torque band was impressive. I had 400lbs starting at 2000RPM and the torque just keeps rising from there to redline.

Give Kenny a call. (303)346-5232
