just got my STS Turbo just recieved my sts turbo....can't wait to get it installed but the shop says it will be another few weeks before they can get to my car...any suggestions from any Rear mounted turbo people? That would help alot...thanks!

A few things: Make sure the Y pipe or ORY or whatever is properly sealed at the exit. The factory joint there is crap for boost and needs work, do this first since this affects the poition of the overaxle exhaust pipe. Add an extra hanger to the TURBO inteslf or it will tend to sag after time. After the wiring is installed test the operation by jumping the hobbs swithes. Use wire loom when possible. Add a rubber insulated clamp to the over axle intake pipe to the brake line/hose junction bracket to secure it.

the pipe is designed to sleeve over your factory exhaust. Some have cut it wrong and tried butt welding it. It is very easy to get a little slag in the pipe and if the turbo is on already, you will not like the result of slag going through the turbo.
