Ordered a cam for the PD - Lingenfelter GT2-3
207/220 .573/.580 117.5 LSA
I drive 15k miles a summer, so the driveability on this thing was one of the big selling points. I will be running it with ARE Stage 1.5 heads (stage one with upgraded springs and bowl work) and MAC mid headers. In the next couple years, I expect to be boosted by at least one turbo. Anyone running this on a non-twin turbo car or am I the guinnea pig?

Jason JRIOS had his exhaust chambers opened up to 73cc to lower the compression and it seems to work pretty well. I was able to dial in an extra 4 degrees of timing on his car from the pre heads/cam tune we had in it. May want to consider it for your heads?
Looking forward to reading about another strong PD car.
I read that by doing that you screw up your quench height and can actually make things worse.
others claim up to a point it works well.
personally would ask around to see if anybody has done it successfully first. It may work fine. I always thought that opening up the chambers really didn't accomplish much but apparently it does. so a slightly thicker gasket may just do the trick.

I haven't ordered head gaskets yet, though, do you think it is worthwhile to get something a little thicker?
Thanks for the info.
