Re: Is there a Benefit to LT headers with blower??? i have macs and will be switching to QTP 1-7/8 headers. under boost all you hear is a loud hiss on my car. it's so loud people blocks away say thats all they hear ( no motor noise at all , even with the cutout open).
the more flow you get, the more power you make , and with blowers it lowers boost while producing more "efficient " horsepower.
if your going to get LT's get something big ,not the slp's, especially since there will be a 408 in your future.

Is there a Benefit to LT headers with blower??? Would there be any real benifit in swithching over to SLP LTs over my Mac mid lengths while im swaping my heads. I can get a set for a good price but is there a real power increase for a blown application. Mods are stock shortblock, ATI at 9lbs, Hotcam & comp pushrods, potrd tb, slp maf, mac headers oryp & flowmaster catback, 42 lb injectors and walbro intank, custom tuning. To be installed Ported and polished ls1 heads, holley intake and maybe SLP long tubes? What are some opinions on weather these would add or not to my set up? Thanks for any input.
