V9-SQ ls1 question

V9-SQ ls1 question please excuse me i know i'm a newb, but a friend of mine is running a 98 SS M6 with the vortech V9-SQ G-trim aftercoolered at 8 psi, other mods are just a borla exhaust(no plates) shorty's, hypertech and a k&n. stock gear, stock tranny etc...
this car makes the worst ET's ever, and i know the driver has a lot to do with it, and street tires arent helping either but my freakin civic pulled on this car, i know its tuned properly, its runs pretty good, just not fast. things just dont add up.
so my question, finally, is anyone here running this or a simular setup? with what kind of results. the car made about 405 whp before the cooler at 5 psi, i forgot the torque sorry.
what kind of times are you guys getting with this kit? thanks in advance for any help. --DJ
