Injector Question for blower??

Injector Question for blower?? Are 42# Ford Racing and 42# Lucas injectors the same? And can either one be tuned in with LS1-EDIT? I know some pretty impressive mustangs run both types. Just want the easiest ones to tune for a blower setup.

Re: Injector Question for blower?? NO. The Ford injectors are made by Bosch (the same company that makes the OEM LS1 injectors). Although both are rated at 42#/hr, we have had MUCH better results with the Bosch injectors especially in drivability and startup smoothness. Either one can fit the LS1 and be tuned for using LS1edit though.

Re: Injector Question for blower?? Last I knew the Rawsonville Ford/Visteon plant was primarily alternators... Bosch has been the manufacturer for most Ford injectors since the 86 mustang went EFI as much as I can recall. All of the ones I've seen have had two part numbers on them, one Ford, one Bosch.

Re: Injector Question for blower?? I think hte SVO's have slightly better flow rate than the Bosch. My "42's" are actually only 39.8 PSI rated at 43.5.
I've even heard the SVO 42's may be tested at a flow rate of 39.1 or 39.6 PSI, which would make them flow quite a bit more fuel than the Bosch version injectors on our 58 PSI systems.
Can anyone substantiate or debunk this information?
