Belt part number for Powerdyne?
Belt part number for Powerdyne? I am having the H/C package put on later this week and I thought I'd throw a new belt on too. I can read that it is a Gates belt, but I can't make out the part number. Does anyone know? Or do I have to get it from Powerdyne (hopefully not).
Also, what size allen wrench do I need to get the blower off? I can never seem to get it right.

next time I head down to the garage I will grab the number off it if I can see it. (dark in the garage)

They carry the PD belts kevlar or fiberglass. Fiberglass stands up better to the heat than the kevlar. I shredded two of those when I had my PD on the car.

*edit* DOH I read wrong I thought you wanted the internal belts for the PD. Well its good info to have just in case......

Re: Belt part number for Powerdyne? Well, I tore it down and put the car back to NA to save a few bucks at the shop. It looks like the blower needs new bearings. When I got it a year ago it spun pretty free, now its got some bind. Oh well - I guess you gotta pay to play. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
On the good side it will be a brand new setup next year, professionally tuned, with brand new heads, cam, clutch, rear end, and blower! I think I owe more on this car and my credits cards than I do my house right now. Pretty normal for the most guys on this board, right????
