67 Camaro's 104MM Update

5 Attachment(s)
All the plumbing is done. AEM has 4 wires left. Oil is in. Twin Radiators are full. Sunday is "D" day.

104MM turbo on completely harden Dart engine. The best of the best. Twin BOV, Twin waste gates. Air-to-water intercooler (sets in back of the passenger seat).

Goal: 1500-1700 rwhp.

I have attached a couple of pictures of Excessive AutoSports' newest project.

Track times will have to wait until next year.

thats a nice design, but damn can you stand still while you take the pictures

That looks awesome, can you get a pic from the front? Is there no front radiator support in the car?

Navy David SS Oct 30, 2005 01:51 AM

Sorry about the "rattle" pictures. But if you seen this monster you would shake also.

Whistler. I'll try to get a "head on" picture. There is radiator supports, but just very well fabricated. Joey did one heck of a job on the entire fab part. All the piping is custom fab from the shop.

i think that radiator system is preatty neat. runs straight into the block from the radiators and looks like it has a pump on top of the engine to get it back to the radiators.

copbait Oct 30, 2005 11:24 AM

The radiator support is ahead of the radiators. The turbo is actually a 106 dave. there is two electric water pumps mounted on the subframe one for each radiator. The car is being built to be "street driveable" to take it to the local cruise nights so a good cooling system was a must. Fuel system and intercooler is built around a 2400hp max so we can use all that the turbo offers. :jest:

Ps if you think he shakes while taking picts you should have seen dave after his bumper standing pass. :engarde:

WOW!

Looks great!

Navy David SS Oct 31, 2005 05:17 PM

Thanks for all the great compliments. Chad (the owner of the 67) would love to see these comments. Chad and Joey have really come up with some "new" mods to make this one sweet "street" car. The start up did not happen this weekend, but soon. Chad (and the rest of us) can't wait to hear this beast ;D
