Yup... I forgot. Forget about this week. These guys are out.

Hmm... The "hard to reach" comment applies to Forced Inductions notwithstanding the SEMA event, though. It seems Jose's the only one on the phones. I've never gotten anyone else... and yes, it's not easy. E-mail has worked a little bit better for me. Leave him some messages and an e-mail so he gets your message for certain when he gets back.

Dalton is easy to reach and make arrangements with. However, with the SEMA event, you probably won't reach him either, nossty1.

I'll PM you the list, if you would like, to help you sort out the BUNCH of stuff I'm sure you're getting a headache with. It's not easy without the list!

Nossty, I have a T67-S turbo, 0.81 a/r, and I did get the alternator. I have everything from PTK except for the "alternator bolt kit"... seems like the least likely thing to go unsent, but Dalton said something about not being satisfied with the bolts they were using.

Are you guys going to use the mitsu bypass or go with a BOV?

I was contacted by Luke at PTK and he gave me the tracking number for my housing and Alt. I guess they already knew about it. Should be here in a couple of days. I have had no problems whatsoever with PTK except for the wait and would recomend them to anyone. As long as you are willing to wait.
Now I just need the turbo.

nossty1: Oh, snap... So, they have the housings, now? I hope they have mine, too. Yours was the .96, right?

Those waiting for the bolt kit: Dalton explained to me that a specific customer was having great difficulty with the current bolt kit. Dalton stopped the delivery of this bolt kit with other LS1 Kit shipments and is waiting for the customer to give him a detailed description of the problem. That way he can fix them (or use purchase different sized bolts, whatever the case may be) and send us all the right sized bolts so no one else has this problem the one customer had.

Bro, so you're ready to go... unlike nossty1 and me.

INSTALL!

Have fun! BTW, through whom did you order the T-67?

Thumbs up

bboy, I ordered the t67 from PTS directly. Since I'm totally stock on the bottom end of the motor, we're going to stay south of 600 rwhp/rwtq. Dalton thought the t67 using a 0.81 a/r would give me a quick spool and broad powerband.

nossty, thanks so much for the pics. That first one kinda looks like the kit is in a little chapel or something, which to me is very appropriate

I will update you guys on the install as it goes forward at the shop.

So what about the bypass valve thing? Using it? Locating it where? Anyone?

Yes we are all at SEMA. Greg and Dalton were with me all week. Things should be back to normal this week.

I don't know it's exact measurements, but it's just a bit larger than the front plate cover on a Firebird... not too good for having a 700rwhp monster, but good for not chopping up a TA front end with no foglights.
