ATI Plenum??
I've been studying my ATI kits plenum. Does this plenum cause a lag in boost? It looks like between that and all the tubing, this system looks like it suffers from boost lag. Has anyone replaced their plenum with a y-connection? And would there be an advantage to switching to a single intercooler with less tubing? Just want to get some ideas before we start to install this kit.

Re: ATI Plenum??
I can actually see why you would think that the plenum would cause boost lag but it doesnt. Your better off with the twins than you are with the single 2 or 3 core intercoolers. Granted the 3-core does support a good amount of hp but the twins frim what ive read and called about support more and you have to mount the single 3 core under the car with a wide scoop that takes away from ground clearance. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: ATI Plenum??
If I'm having boost lag with the ATI dual intercooler and plenum setup, I'd almost be scared to drive it without a lag. It completely hauls *** - VERY responsive. With a little work, you can even make those plenums look nice. Here's a pic of mine, more at my website link in the Sig >>
