roots blower?
roots blower? It already raises the bs flags I know, but I have to ask. Someone I know is saying someone he knows is saying that there is a roots style blower kit made for the camaro/firebird. He insists there is one, so I have to ask, Has anyone seen a roots style blower kit for the camaro/firebird, not the corvette?

Re: roots blower? The biggest problem I that there is no clearence for a roots type blower to fit underneath our hoods or our dashboards. MAGNA charger dosen't ever make one. I have already called them.

I have a intercooled magnacharger on my Tahoe.If you ran a cowl hood and were willing to modify the underhood cowling you probably could make in work.Ford Lightnings run the same supercharger.Adding boost is easy with a keyed pulley, the Fords are running 14+lbs.You would have to run a truck accessary drive.It's doable with 14lbs of boost and bigger injectors{kit comes with 42lbs delphi's}you could make 600+hp.
