Fuel System ?s I'll be installing a LS1 Motorsports Turbo when ever it arrives and will be hoping for 600 rwhp.
I have the Racetronix/ARE dual intank pump system.
How much rwhp will the stock fuel lines/rails handle if I install a boost referenced regulator in the stock return line that T's of the feed line by the rear axle?
Is it the stock line or the fuel rail that is the weak link? The stock feed line is 6AN correct? Do we know how much fuel 6AN line is capable of carrying @ our 60-75lb pressures.

Re: Fuel System ?s the stock lines and rails both neck down to around 3/16 inner dia at the flares.. otherwise they would work out pretty good.
rob had mentioned to me stock lines could do my goal of 600 no problem, but i played it safe with -8 up to custom rails and a full -6 return.
3/16 is more like -4
-8 is 3/8 inner dia.
you are definitely restricting the 2 pumps with the stock system, whether you need it or not is up to the rest of the car.
