Default F.I. options

I'm planning on buying some kind of 98 to 01 f body coming up this june and i would like to run some type of forced induction on it. at first i was thinking a d1 procharger at like 10 psi atop a rebuilt 346 with low comp. pistons, and a lot of other things i don't feel like listing. I've been reading in this forum for a couple of days and it seems like everyone has belt throwing problems with the prochargers. This car is going to be a dialy driver, so i dont want to have to replace a belt every time i decide to have some fun around town. I haven't seen any links or prices for turbo kits, and was wondering if people could post some for me so i can do more research. I'd like to end up having anywhere from about 475 to 550 hp and good driveability. I'm on a budget and plan on getting a built 9 inch, full suspension, ls1edit, ls6 intake, some sort of cam, rebuild etc, so i cant spend too much. Any people that have had good luck with a procharger producing hp numbers like this without belt throwing please respond too.

I would pass on D-1 much belt issues.Above post is good suggestion or Rob Raymers turbo kit, higher initial cost but more hp&tq no belt slip or breakage either.

Any d-1 r f-1 owners here with a positive experience. I want to run the 8 rib setup and it seems either people hate it or have no problems at all.
