Default turbo plus whipple?

I have a whipple on my 2002 silverado. I am looking for a little more power and I came up with the the idea of mounting a turbo on the driver side (the whipple is on the pass side for those not familiar with it) The discharge of the turbo would go down to an intercooler under the front license plate where my filter is now. The outlet side of the intercooler would go up to the mass air and into the whipple. Other than the engineering involved, do you guys see any problems with this idea? I have no experience with dual power adders so would it be worth the effort or should I look elsewhere for more power?

umm. i am not o sure about this, but that seems like an engineering problem. Why would you want to compress compressed air - Not to mention the massive expense to do this setup. Dual power adders i don't think refers to SC and turbo. It is either twin turbos or SC and N2O or N2O and tubo/s. oh yeah, and i have seen a dual whipple SC setup on a rat motor before, but never a turbo and SC setup. Why not just boost more air through the SC with an overdrive pulley?

then is a big teal truck that runs land speed that has a V16 motor and 2 supercharger and 2 turbos. I thing the bigges problem is getting them to work at the same air flow, if the turbos are working better that the sc then the blowoff would be always open. Why not just up grade the pully or build the motor? Much easyer!

I would like to up the boost on the charger but the way the whipple kit is set up, piping in an intercooler would be almost impossible. And everybody says you can't run more than about 9psi on the whipple before getting detonation probs. I figured that by pumping the turbo into an intercooler and then feeding the whipple that maybe the charge temps would be the same or even less than they are now but with more boost.

If you go through the hassle of fabbing up a turbo setup with intercooler don't even worry about the whipple. A single properly sized turbo can flow enough air by itself to not even worry with the whipple. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />

I keep hearing about turbo kits coming out for the trucks but, still nothing.
