HKS boost controller
HKS boost controller is anyone else having problems with the HKS EVC IV? I ahv eit on a Tial 40mm gate and it will boost to what ever when its turned on.... I am not the only person having this problem in town... ive run them on a ton of HKS gates and even internals but the tials i am having a BIG problem with...
take the controller out of the circut and the wastegate works fine

I have one on my car. Took it to a shop and they did work (I assume they got something in the line (I didn't have a vacuum filter on the lines to the controller) and I'm assuming the actuator got stuck. We did a couple pulls and the thing wouldn't work at all. We took it out of the loop and wastegate worked. The guy said the hks was broke but I said B.S. It worked great before. So I took the lines off (that he routed between two points that could pinch off one line) and re-ran new line and wa-la. controller works again. I assume a line was pinched or cut (never found a cut) or something was in the line causing the controller to fail. In any event, I like the hks. That was with the HKS racing wastegate. I'm going with a bigger turbonetics racegate... will see how it works out then.
