Where to spray NOS????? Hi, I have a NOS 5177 kit and want to hook it up to cool the intake charge on my ATI kit. I was wondering where it would be most benificial and safest to mount it. Would fogging the intercoolers or spraying a small 25 shot before the MAF be the best. Also would a tune be needed for such a small amount?? This will only be used when needed or for a few passes at the strip. Any help or first hand info would be great. Thanks Ryan
Re: Where to spray NOS????? your wanting to cool the air so closer to the intake would be better. If you spray the intercooler, the air might heat up a little before it goes into the intake, so cool it right before it goes in.
if your runing on the lean side you might need to richen it up a hair, just wathc your A/F ratios i dont think that small amount will matter a whole lot, just make sure your not already lean..

Re: Where to spray NOS????? I have a dual shoot 25hp dry. Before the maf my nozzles are facing forward Not towards the maf. as long as the fuel can take it a 25hp should be fine even on a stock block!

Re: Where to spray NOS????? What jet sizes are you using to make that 25hp shot? Is each side running a 25hp shot, thereby equating to a 50 total? I had nitrous for a year without the supercharger, and then installed it when the ATI went on. I would like to spray it at the strip, but haven't tried it yet. I did mine like this >>
