Re: Superchargers hate heat!? Heat doesn't really effect turbo boost, it just increases the lag time.
As for the superchargers, even with a better intercooling kit, your temperatures are still going to be well into the 100's. Even the best intercooling kits will only bring your inlet temperatures to ~30 degrees above ambient at full supercharger boost.
Water/Alky injection is one solution.
Direct Nitrous injection is another.
Nitrous on the intercooler is another.
Or you can pulley up.
Personally, I prefer water/alky injection. With the increase in octane, you can take timing higher and make more power with the same amount of air.
