I want more midrange boost, how?
When I shift my boost drops to 3lb. I was thinking a bigger pulley and just shift sooner. Has anyone tried this? Maybe a 10 or 12lb. and just shift at 5,800 or something. Maybe just raise my shift points so I don't lose so much rpm. I would like some opinions please. I really don't want to start filling a bottle again.

your running a D1-sc right ?
What I'm doing is going to the 3.6" pulley and dropping my rev limiter and shift point a little so i don't see too much boost up high
thinking about 10psi at most with the stock 5.3
how many Psi are you seein now ?
jim
I might try just shifting higher first. Have you tired this? What is your boost at when you shift?
I think I read something that said the D-1SC moves the powerband up more then a P-1SC at the same boost.
My 6.0 has just a little less compression than my old 5.3, so I should have no problems at 10lbs.
So I guess you have this same problem? Thanks for the input.

Now, I am a firmly believe that there is always room for improvement. This is the first FI motor I have owned and I am just starting to play with it.
