Head gaskets for boosted application
Head gaskets for boosted application Hey guys,
I have 2000 and newer LS6 truck heads that I'm putting back on my 98 LS1 block. I've had them on there once before and I used the GM MLS 6.0 liter gaskets, they worked great. My question is, I stopped by the local store and bought some gaskets that the store or I am not sure will work, they are stamped with 5.7 on them and are the (I think these are the years) 2002-2004 GM 5.7 MLS gaskets. Does anyone know if these will work or are the gaskets to small for the combustion chamber on the heads? Thanks for the help.
