They are no longer a sponsor of this forum, FWIW.

Do a search - people have had very mixed results with their customer service.

FWIW = for what its worth. There was 10 or 12 guys on this site using SDCE stuff for there Prochargers about a year or 2 ago, so if you do a search in this section you`ll find lots of info. KP ( a moderator on this site) is running a used SDCE/Procharger setup and his car is real fast.

go to google.com and type in SDCE, 2nd or 3rd hit should get you there.

I have bought a couple parts from them and had no problem getting them in a timely manner. Some people had problems with slow turnaround time and getting stuff shipped out when promised, dont think they ever failed to ship parts - just a little slow and didnt make promised delivery dates..

Its a decent setup, I am still on the same used belt I got when I bought it in March and its still on the same belt making the the same boost (even more now in the cooler weather) since the day I put it on. When I first saw it I didnt think it would work well but I was wrong, zero complaints here about it..

Costly but worth it. I went from 423 rwhp to 518 rwhp. That was using their crank pulley, spring tensioner and 3.4 8 rib pulley. No problem here with customer service, however I know that I was one of the lucky ones.

The spring tensioner is a great product. I highly recommend it if you can have your car down for at least a month. You need to send your bracket in to them for modification and no matter what they tell you it will take probably at least 3 to 4 weeks with shipping and all. They told me they would turn the bracket around in 3 days, it ended up being over 4 weeks with shipping and all. It got rid of the "rattle" completely. I had LT's installed and the new tensioner and picked up 2lbs boost, 55 hp, and 38lbs torque. Get the crank pin kit also if you do it.

OK sounds good,
With the D1-sc and the SDCE 7.25 crank pulley - spring tensioner set up how much boost can u run
I was looking to run 12-15 PSI,

How big is the Crank pulley that Procharger provides? is it smaller than the SDCE 7,25 one
I would rather get a bigger crank pulley right off the bat to have a lot of belt traction.
Thank you very much for your help,
I learned a lot.

the ATI crank pulley is pretty small, 5.85" or something like that if I remember. I am using a 3.7" blower pulley with a D1, 7.25" crank pulley and I am seeing a little over 14psi in this weather @ 6700rpm, about 12psi in the summer, with a small cam (01 Z06), slightly lower compression, FMIC and LT headers.

I have a 4" and 3.4" blower pulley also, its about 2psi less with the 4" and 2psi more with the 3.4. I have had them all on the car at one time or another..

i was thinking of even bigger than 7.25 for more belt track. And going bigger on the supercharger pulley

maybe a 7.5 or even a 8"
did you guys have a choice?

Don't need it with the SDCE set up, belt slip is nearly eliminated with it. The SDCE set up comes with a 7.250 in crank pulley for a reason, any bigger and the s/c belt would hit the waterpump.

Don't worry about belt slip or power with the SDCE set up you'll be taken care of. I made 15-16psi on the 3.4 up here at 5600ft with my SDCE set up, sold it to KP and he is still running the belt that I sent with it.

Not to be a jerk but it must be annoying with all the time and effort you put into that setup with problems(before SDCE setup). Now KP has been running fast all year with it, kind of like you worked all the bugs out and KP is seeing the rewards.

There is lot more to my car running fairly quick then just bolting on a non slipping S/C drive so I dont thik Jeremy is too upset about anything, he ran pretty well for his elevation when he had it but was up against a wall with it and I understand why he went wth a turbo.

There has been quite a few other similar setups sold, Kyle's for one, that never went 9s. I'm sure it had the potential though. I paid Jeremy a fair price, he was an excellent seller and delivered as promised. Couple things I changed but for the most part its still the same way I bought it from him, he should be proud of how it works, not annoyed, especially since I'm pretty picky about what I put on my car.

Not annoyed about it at all and don't have to worry about being a jerk, you aren't. I get asked that a lot. I'm glad to see the kit delivering its full potential. It was either upgrade to an F1 head unit or keep spinning the D1 for all its worth at this elevation. I'm stoked that Kev is running awesome times and has got into the mags even. Its pretty neat to see something that you put a lot of work into, actually get into a mag.

Kev offered me a fair price and I jumped, because it would have been almost as expensive to upgrade to an F1 than to go turbo(my pham kit was 3500 shipped) so thats why I did it.

11.1@124-5 up with DA's almost always in the upper 6000's to lower 7000's and isn't too shabby.

This is my 3 FI kit so far, going on my 4th...well I call this latest one a revision or upgrade, so its nothing new for me to get it running right and then switch to something else, keeps me busy and home with the lil woman and my 2yr old son, but I'll chill out after this last set up...stuff is getting too expensive

I have Kevs mag saved in a folder FWIW that way I can show off my old s/c kit and its new awesome looking home.

Let me add, Kp is one of the people I consider to be a friend on this board, he helps/ offers advice anytime I need it. He's one of the few that I can count on to answer a PM when I need an answer ASAP.

Thanks Kev for the kind words, I try to be a good guy most the time

You are looking at 675.00. Plus the pin kit. Yes you can install it yourself.
