Question about cost..
Ive never really looked at prices but whats the going rate of a big-frame turbo, like a PT-101 and the supporting Intercooler (In-car), Wastegate, Blow-off, misc Big parts (not including pipeing)...

Mr Powell, the cost will depend on really what you want to do - and if the engine needs any fine-tuning.
Turbo can run anywhere up to $2500-3000
Each BOV - $500
Each WG - $500
Intercooler - $1500 for an air/water set-up
Fuel system - $1500
Engine Management system - $2000-2500
F/I - (150lb+) - $700
You can't forget the piping - it will run you $1000+. On top of all this you are looking at $3000-5000 install and fabrication pricing.
You can easily spend $10,000 for a good set up. I am assuming you are not looking to go backwards - you 8r second nitrous pass was awesome. Your engine may need to be changed for a lower compression - what is your present engine 11.5/1 at least? If so, you'll need to re-do the pisons and cam at least. I just priced most of these items. Not cheap

I've been tossing around the idea of building a thumper setup for my car. Probably keep it all class legal **** though for True 10.5 stuff.. I price it out last night and at RETAIL I was at $9800. That was a Precision 91.5mm, HKS GT 60mm Gate, Tial 50mm Blow-off, 4-Core Air/Water Intercooler (with water tank, pump, lines), Weldon 2035 Pump, 160lb injectors, Big Stuff 3, 6 4" Silicon Hose Couplers, 12 T-Bolt clamps. Figure that should get me started on stuff to do.
For the motor was going to use my Lunati Pro Billets and my Lunati Crank, get some custom wiseco pistons with some dish, get a set of AFR 225s and just set them up for solid roller (And 3/8" push rods) and 1/2" head studs. Have a new iron block of course and start off with a 402 so I have room to grow.
Like I said this is just an idea right now.. With my jet ski sold, my direct port, and a few other things I'd have enough to do most of it... But is it worth spending the money lol!
