Please comment on proposed advanced set-up Posted in fueling section & got no response. Am hoping that someone in the advanced section can comment.
Currently make 380 RWHP with a 12.8-12.9 A/F ratio @ WOT using 30# injectors & a Walbro 255 pump. Have access to a used Powerdyne BD-11A head unit only (supercharger). Would like to control fueling with a single 9th injector mounted in the mouth of the intake. Have a stand alone injector controller & can control the injector based on vacuum/boost & RPM. Have done this with a small injector on a 4 cylinder FI engine. Fuel flow was low enough on that set up that it was vaporized. Am not sure that will be the case here.
Would like to know if the 9th injector is possible (looks like a 1000cc injector will be required). Am adding 75 to 100 RWHP. If 9th injector is a no go, then will a boost-a-pump increase the pressure/flow in the 30# injectors enough to fuel the supercharger? My last choice is to install 50# ish injectors with a second pump or boosted pump. Would really like to use the 9th injector.
