Rear mounted turbo ... I want to build a kit like this and have the fabrication skills, but need some of the other parts ... namely the oiling system. I have an older truck, so there is no kit made for it ... if there was, I would consider it. I know I could front mount the turbo, but for now I would like to mount it under the bed. Any help on sourcing a dependable pump? Also, if I remember correctly, I thought I read something about a pressure switch being part of the oiling system as well ... am I incorrect, or can anyone shed any light on this?
Here is a pump that people have use http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/mocal1.htm The pressure switch goes in between the turbo out let and the pump. If it sees more then a could psi of pressure, it turns on a buzzer telling you that either the pump can't keep up, or has failed and oil is building up in the turbo and will push out the seals in to the exhaust and smoke like crazy.
