question about turbo lag

all the parts are in for my 04 gto turbo build up at rms/trc.
they went with a pte74gts turbo with a .96 a/r. also a set of stage 2 heads and a mild FI cam are going on. what would you guys say the lag will be like. what rpm should a be making max boost. i'm just curious as to what i have to look forward to.

Max boost? I predict 4k rpm.

My 76GTS spools about 3.5 - 4k so yours might be a little sooner. Off the line with a M6 its a little sluggish but, from a kick (above 3.5K rpm) the boost is instant. A4 with a 4K stall would be fun off the line.
