Ive got a modified STS system with a FMIC and a gt67 turbo that will give you an easy 550hp...i will sell it to you cheap. Its VERY fast and VERY fun to drive!

No doubt, and you can have an ATI ProCharger in two weeks time! An ATI ProCharger comes in a large box, and everything is packaged and marked in seperate bags. The blower itself comes in a large foam box, which serves as a great chair to sit on to read through the directions. Bob

I really need to block the FI forum or something.... i just keep reading these threads and WANT TO BUY a D1SC sooooo bad. Sorry, had to vent. Ive researched for a while now and the D1SC is def the kit to go with for Daily Driver or want to quick bolt up and play.

what does it for me is these facts:

no custom fabrication
self contained
bolt on
proven
cheap
capable of 700rwhp very easily
1 year warranty
fast shipping
two decent A2A IC's
and the sound


but mainly the fact that its been used 100's of times and works every damn time

heres the thing though. say u run 8-9 psi on a turbo kit and 8-9 on the SC kit, which car wins in a race? which car dynos higher? Obviously their are a million variables. How big the turbo is, how radical tuning is on both cars. but i am saying in an all out slug fest on street and strip. say both dyno 550 wheel, which car is faster, which car is quicker? I'm done with the bolt on thing and have been reading A LONG time on both, and i honest to god can't make up my mind. it seems to change day to day.

I have no experience with either and am not sure if I'll go FI or not because it's about twice as expensive, but I think I would go with a Procharger or even a Whipple (I like the quiet twin screws) over a turbo. Turbo's are neat and make the best peak numbers, but because of the lag and generally quirky nature compared to the have-it-now power from a blower or N/A motor, I would venture to say turbos can be considered more of a dyno queen type of setup. They'd also be tricky to launch on an M6 car.

I've only had a chance to race 1 turbo car in my Camaro, and it was a 265rwhp (11psi) 2000 lb Civic hatch with the stock VTEC motor. We went from a 40 roll to the end of my 4th gear, and I beat him by ~ 2 carlengths, and this was just with headers and exhaust. The reason I beat him is he didn't brake boost (that I know of) on the start, and I immediately jumped 2 carlengths on him from the start. Once his turbo spooled up, neither of us pulled on the other. This is just my 2 cents though.
