Default how do u get oil to turbo?

I was wondering how you got presurized oil to the turbo? Is drilling and tapping the pan for the return? How does sts get oil all the way back to turbo do they use a pump of some sort? I was just wondering because I want to do a turbo install and just had some questions. Thanks.

there is a cast piece above the oil filter, you can drill and tap into that piece as it will lead to the pressure side of the oil (pump)
for the return you can drill and tap your pan above the oil level.

Is that even needed on a conventional turbo setup? aka NON rear mounted turbos...

EDIT: thats just the autometer elec sending unit right?

A oil pump isnt needed for a conventional turbo setup is what i meant to ask. Just drill/tap that peice and run the -3 line to the turbo, correct?
Obviously a return too.

Oil pump only needed on the sts to return the oil from the turbo to the oil pan.

So if you have a gravity return, no extra pumps needed.
