What you guys think of this setup? Well guys i think im gonna be doing a shortblock for my SS camaro soon. I seen the deals FFHP has, and i have been thinking of pipcking up their forged 347 shortblock that has the stock crank polished and magnafluxed, Callies Rods, Diamond Pistons, Diamond Pro Select Rings, Federal Mogul Main Bearings, Federal Mogul Rod Bearings, Clevite Cam Bearings, and ARP Main Studs. Im also gonna get the stock LS1 heads i have on my car ported and polished and all that. So i was wondering, with this shortblock on my stock ported and polished heads, im thinking of running a truck manifold type turbo kit. im not sure what size turbo to run, but i want something that spools nice and fast and has a nice pull. So im just trying to find out what everyone thinks of the setup im considering putting together, and also what would be a nice turbo to run. Also, how would i route the dp? My car is lowered already, and i havent had any problems with scraping my longtubes now, but does the dp run under the K member? and can i run a full exhaust, minus a catback with this system? some systems run under the k member, some shops have creatively routed on top of the k member. I'd talk to the guys at Speed Inc, they are in Chicago and they're a great shop.
