Default Need help!!

I have an 02 Z28 with an STS kit and recently the car started making noise from the drivers side manifold area/ head. When I drive the car it runs fine untill I let off the gas, it the starts backfiring like crazy around 2-2.5 rpms. I changed the manifold gasket but still same prob. For some reason the air pump fuse keeps blowing over and over, can anyone help. I have only had the kit for about 3 weeks.

Thanks,
John

if your referring to the AIR pump you should have deleted that, as its just a PITA.when you let off the gas its causing a vacuum and might be interferring with the pump.My first guess is a vacuum or boost leak somewhere though.

Or a bad check valve or two for the AIR system... Delete the AIR system entirely

How would I delete the AIR system? Does the AIR system cause problems with the sts kit.
