Question Help me build a turbo setup!

I'm wanting to go to a turbo setup that will produce about 650-700rwhp. I want a front mount single turbo. I've been looking at the GMR kit.

My question is, should I go to a 383 or just swap in a forged 346? Is there much benefit to going to a slightly larger ci on a FI? enough to justify the price?

Also, is 650rwhp a fair goal for this type of setup? what size turbo would you recommend?

Thanks for the help.

from what I have been looking at lately, I have noticed that going bigger cubes isn't really necessary.....a lot of people are getting big #s with 346s.

As for the GMR kit, don't quote me on this but I thought someone said the largest turbo you can fit on there is a 76.

When and if I ever do go FI, it'll either be a forged 346 or a 402 if I have the cash laying around

with that kit defintaly do smaller cubes (unless your talking about their twin)
346 forged would be the max or youll start getting back pressure problems.

The GMR kit is a nicely designed single similar to the TTi kit and was sharing the design from the QMP kit (which one of the GMR guys helped make while at stainlsworks believe). Due to the log pass thru design, back pressure will be a problem at some point, so definitely smaller cubes is the way to go with the T76. I think probably ~600rwhp withthe 76mm be about it if you compare it to what people have done with the QMP and TTi kits. I'd email GMR and ask what they think a reasonable power limit is on their single kit. They should look at making a race kit as well, then they will have the market cornered! A single street, a single race, and a twin turbo.
