Default 1000 hp convertible

Alright guys I have held out long enough. The car will be on the road very soon. I have to fix a leak in the brake line and bleed the brakes then do some more tunning on the dfi and she should be ready to cruise around and break in. After about a week of driving I will be hittin the dyno and get a good tune on it. Before anyone starts bashing on the 1000 hp, it may not do it with the turbo alone but if you can see there is a plate kit under that throttle body and it goes up to 300 hp.

Specs are 383, mowtown race block, venoila 30+ psi boost custom pistons, AFR fully ported heads, 226,234, 116 cam, all forged of course, t-76, custom made (by me ) headers and rest of kit. t-56 tranny with a moser 12 bolt (spool), etc.....

Pics suck and car is very dirty.
what ya think?

Badass... and best of all, it's done in VERY GOOD TASTE. It seems you've thought of many details including some I probably didn't even notice... Very beautiful.

Very nice. When you say 1000hp are you talking crank or do you mean wheels? Either way thats a nice setup.

They did a nice job on the piping. Did you bring the car to them? If not, how did they fab all the custom bends and fitment?

Looks great bro!

No I did all the work myself. I just ordered the bends I wanted and went to town. I got some flanges and 2 boxes of misc. bends to do the headers. This has to be the funest project i've done so far. Cant waight to do another one!!

And yes it will have 1000+ hp to the ground. I will make sure of that!

Preciate it everyone I've got a ton of work in this thing and cant waight to be driving it again.

Thanks N20LS1, but its all stainless pipe, and I just took a wire wheel to the intake. The headers have a nice golden/blue color to them now that it has fired up. And I'm right there with ya on the dyno#'s!

Nice job!

How long did it take you to fab everything? If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost you for the piping (PM me if you'd prefer not to post it)?

One observation, I don't see any slip joints in the pictures... did you use any?
