Default supercharger cam...

Well Ive been doin a little research on prochargers and such, and I was just wondering if I happen to go the procharger route (and god puts about another 5k in my bank acount ), would leaving the cam I have in now, leave a lot of potential power on the table? The specs are 220/224 .532/.536 114 LSA. I know superchargers like to have a nice exhaust bias in the duration, which I technically do have...but what kind of difference would a little bigger cam like a 224/230 with a higher lift?

My goals are basically this. I want initially 450-470 RWHP, with room to grow in the future if I choose. But I want the car to be very street friendly. Heads/cam combo would be a lot cheaper, and probably get me close, but the size cam I would need to get around 450 RWHP would probably make the ride a little rough. I would like to run around 7-8 psi on the stock bottem end, with a nice safe tune so Im not worrying too much about the motor grenading(although I know it can easily happen).

This is all just hypothetical and research, I probably couldnt do anything until next winter anyways. Any imput is appreciated.

I'm sure plenty of guys would say the cam you have will be more than capable of producing the power you want.

If anything, you could just upgrade your rockers to 1.8's for a bit of extra lift.

Leave it in for now, it's better than stock.
