Default Catch can necessary w/ boost application?

Just wondering what the consensus is on whether one is needed? I some guys running on and some not. Any particular reason why? If I don't need it that's fine by me and will sell my AMW unit. I run breathers 2 on the pass side VC.

Thanks.

The catch cans are used in case of crankcase pressure. During boost, and depending on how much blow by you have, the crank case can become slightly pressurized. When this happens (besides robbing a bit of power) the breathers may spit oil out into the engine bay. The catch can is used to catch the extra oil so it doesn't make a mess.

I bought mine directly from them before the price hike. Their website still says $160 but I believe it's more than that. I installed and took it off the same day as my 396 didn't like it one bit. Thought I installed it wrong and tried it again nah it didn't like it all to say the least.
