I just had a few questions about a camshaft for an LS1 with a Procharger D-1sc with 10lbs. It is a comp cams Xtreme energy. Here are the specs.
INT EXH
DUR @ .050 206 212

VALVE LIFT .515 .522 LOBE SEP 112


THe cam will be in there for only a little bit till I switch out for a head/cam package.Thanks for the input.

Will the cam work with the s/c application? Would it help/hurt it? Or do nothing and just make the car sound better?

I kinda' doubt you'll ever see a difference from stock: power, idle, SOTP, dyno, or otherwise.

That cam will make OK power until you switch it out. Just make sure your valvesprings can handle it, and plan on getting a larger blower pulley than normal - that cam will jack up the boost and you may need to slow the blower down a bit to survive.

I'm thinking with the 112 LSA, you're going to leak a little boost out of the exhaust valve overlap, meaning a smaller blower pulley will be needed to get x amount of boost out of the ProCharger. I wouldn't let the cam deter you from running the ProCharger, we've seen some 112 LSA cams make really good power. Bob

Not with only 206/212 duration! The overlap at .050" is -15 degrees! The stock turbo GN cam is on a 106 LSA, but since the duration is so short, it doesn't have any overlap either.
