I can get a lot of tankfulls out of it even when I'm on it a lot though.

Rocket: I think you're missing part of the point of adding the meth. When your fuel trims are fine and you just need to combat detonation you pull out fuel enrichment from your gasoline injectors, and substitute that fueling with the methanol. Razor/Julio has been building kits for quite a while and recommends 100% meth for any application, I'll take his word over yours, sorry.
You need to check out rocket468's systems he offers a great setup

at a great price and his company is very well known through out

the midwest. I would take his advise over razor/julio anyday

all of the local grandnational guys know his product and respect

his opinions

98z... weather you know it or not.. your posting sounds like you are a newb and you just got some sort of a deal on the devils alky kit.

this is the way i think about it.

gasoline vs water.. gasoline better at making hp... so i use gasoline

methanol vs. water.. methanol better at making hp.. so i use methanol

methanol vs. gasoline.. methanol is better at making hp... so i spray A LOT of METH

sooner you show me a top alcohol car that puts down a better mph on water only.. or even by adding water.... i will become interested in these types of posts.

oh yea i forgot one thing.

the companies that want you to add water are avoiding a lawsuit by not suggesting you put a fuel in a container not legal to hold fuel. you have to cut it by at least 25% to have meth not considered a fuel.. or something like that.

I dont have any deals, I don't do business that way. If you like my stuff tell others if you don't tell others. Thats all i ask.

I see where you coming from.

Here is my stand point. Which is going to pull more heat out of the air
water or alky?

A properly setup alky system should pull 50degs of heat out of the air/ intake temps. By the time the alky/water mix reaches the combustion chamber, the mist mixture is fully vaporized into steam. When this happens the water will absorb tremendous amount of heat from the combustion process of the engine. Only about 20% of the orginal mist should make it this far. The rest of it should have already absorbed heat.

Water in the system is not going to add more power by itself. It will allow for cooler AIT values and allow for more boost, more timing, and more power because the air ariving in the engine is cooler.

Why would i sit around and try to talk you into something that would make you slower? I base this off of all the research I have done. I have a 72 olds with a 508 olds running a F-2 Blower that running simlar times with you. I have tried 100 meth 50/50 and all sorts of home brew xcelyen tulene (sp) All i ask is just try. evey car is differnt and your Might run better as you have it now. But if runs better with a cheaper mixture then you can't complain. What do i have to gain by running around and giving bad advise and making people run slower? But if i can make you run faster with someone elses system than they could get you to run with there own stuff then I did good for the day.

strait meth here, i have the alkey control kit. i start spraying at about 6psi and run two good size nozzles with the gain turned all the way up.

on pump gas i can run 11psi max. with the meth i can run it up to 16psi before i see knock. thats about 200rwhp . on the dyno i got up to ~22psi with no knock and over 1000rwhp.

i have a 4 gallon fuel cell, i go thru several tanks of fuel before i add ~1 gallon of meth.

Very Interesting...

Seems like most people that have ran Meth for a while are running 100% Meth.. People like Mighy and Parish8 are well known and have gobs of power..

Looks like I'll need to hit the Meth spray with confedence... I have not hit mine as yet.

i use meth instead of race gas..

i have no idea / dont care if any mix of meth/water etc. will work better to bring down intake temps or not.. i bought the correct intercooler for my application.

Nah I didnt get a deal on the kit.

He makes a great product and people in the midwest know of

his product and are happy with it.

but your right on one thing

I am a newbeeeeee especially to the internet. but not too drag racing...

I wrenched for a living for many years 10 of which I spent at the dealer.

and I didnt have time to waste on here and accumulate the mount of

posts that you have. Alot people are not trying to make the power

you are making and they are looking for a system for their everyday driver.

Alot of people have gone one in life and gave up on being the fastest.

Your definately not the fastest. and your insight on this subject has

no more importance than anyone else that posts here.

you do have a nice car though!

except for that bird on your hood. Usually when my kid draws something

I hang it on the fridge.

haha I probably would talk smack. allwasy have allways will.

and sometimes things do look better in person!

I saw a guys car on ebay and when I saw it in person

it looked alot better!

some of my friends call me a hoss!

its a wonder I even fit in a fbody.

I will have to get some pics of my camaro up here so you can have

a fair stab at my new toy of the year. I cut the out the whole front

air damn out to get some air flowing through the intercooler. I think

I over did it abit but you can start there since I took a cheap shot

at your kids drawing.
