D1-SC and 91 octane?

Here's the setup I'm shooting for this summer:

stock 346 w/ 6.0 heads, custom cam and a D1-SC. Unfortunately I can only get 91 octane where I live. Think I can hit 10#s of boost? Just want to break 500 whp. Thanks

I'm N/A with cam and bolt-ons and wont run anything less than 93 octane in my car. I wouldn't chance it.

I see no reason why you could not make that goal. A good tune is going to be a must! Running on the fat side. Not knowing your other mods I see no reason you would not reach it. With the rest of the supporting mods.....

You should be able to. Just run a good tune.

we just hit 641 rwhp on a D1SC, our AZPSCB2 cam and 91 octane

car was a 99 FRC with stock heads and stock bottom end

With the D-1SC and only 8 lbs of boost, along with a good blower cam, headers and exhaust, you can hit 500 rwhp. Bob
